4 stars: I have three cameras with SD cards. They all work fine over the wifi. I have one outside, the winter weather doesn't seem to bother it. Night vision works well. I just wish you could rewind and see it in reverse as you watch ( not sure if that makes sense). Can not go wrong for the price, free software updates. Great product.
3 stars: You guys really need to fix the app in landscape mode. Used to work before. Thanks in advance \ud83d\ude0f It would be nice if the playback button was on the screen also vs down at the bottom... i.e. not visible in landscape mode. Video crashes if the app starts in landscape and tries to open video in landscape. i.e. it returns to the front menu and never shows the live video of the cams.
3 stars: When I first got the camera I used it in my home to monitor suspicious movement in the house it worked well, recording in colour. I moved it to another home it was recording in colour but is no longer in colour light on still recoding only in black and white. Other than that the picture quality is impressive. I will update further in the near future.
4 stars: Editing my review to 4 stars from 3, previous issues of the camera disconnecting has been solved in updates. I've had the wyze cam for a few years now and it's a great budget cam. My only complaint is that you need a subscription in order to record during the 5 mins after your last recording. However the subscription still ends up being cheaper than Ring camera.
