5 stars: Finally! A news app that cares about the user experience! So awesome that you can change the viewer settings to suit your own preferences or in my case 'needs'. Font size, dark mode and mobile friendly mode! Hey CTV, you might want to follow CBC's lead here. Your app sucks and I just waved bye-bye to it!
3 stars: After the last update, all embeded charts in articles about Covid rates take much longer to load. Because of that, I am not able to see the current new cases in my province right away, and have no patience to wait until all charts are loaded. Therefore, downgrading my rate for the app accordingly.
4 stars: Most of my experience on CBC app has been positive. Sometimes I think there are too many Corona virus stories but I know lots is happening with it. I'm not at present reviewing the news content as such. I'm looking at the variety of news stories as well as the ease with which the app is accessed. It loads quickly I will critique the angles on the stories at another time.
5 stars: Always a great snapshot of what is going on locally nationally, and internationally. A trusted source for news. Never a problem with the app. Other than the bothersome ads (but they are fairly unobtrusive), a great app.
