3 stars: I quite like the actual content. The app is quite clumsy, e.g. the contents page can't be scrolled down because it thinks I'm telling it to reload. Most frustratingly, New Scientist generally mess up my subscription once or twice a year, leaving me unable to read the magazine for a while.

3 stars: Was broken, now fixed. There are still some issues, but improving! A couple of current issues: the navigation bar at the top of the article overlaps with the too of the article itself on my Pixel 3, and the sensitivity of side Vs vertical scrolling is a bit off. I appreciate that the app gives access to the audio edition. I'm not sure if I'll use it much myself at the moment, but it is important for accessibility. 👍
4 stars: The latest version, 4.0.1.3338, arrived a few days ago. It's a big improvement in that the menu now scrolls up reliably which many complained about in the past. The full menu now has pictures against each article which somehow make it more likely I look at them. There's also a quick menu that let's you jump to the section you want. I'm not complaining about this version.
4 stars: My only gripe is that sometimes the headline is covered by the top menu. Otherwise a great app for my digital magazine
5 stars: I'm perplexed by all the negative reviews. The app works great for me, and is an attractive, convenient digital presentation of the magazine...
