4 stars: Big improvements with the app, thumb's up 👍🏼, an option that does seem to be missing, and this is a pretty important option is, the ability to set the duration of the recording, I'm sure this option used to be available within this app. My recordings are stuck at being 30 seconds long.
4 stars: In my previous review, which I somehow managed to delete, I complained about the microphone to the camera not working. Turns out you have to tap the mic icon and hold it down to speak through the camera. Not intuitive since tapping the icon brings up the mic and level display. App still needs to distinguish between 2.4 and 5Ghz WiFi bands (and BSSID) for mesh networks so I can connect my dual band camera to the right access point.
3 stars: Getting a recording to play from a particular point is difficult at best and impossible at worst. Although newer versions have improved it a little, they're mostly just adding minor features to an already difficult to use and navigate app.
3 stars: There is no easy way to select sd card recording. Very tricky option. Struggling
4 stars: Expected nothing, but was positively suprised I was ready to integrate this into my own domotica app, but if the app continues to work this well, I will just use this. Also, never expected this chinese stuff to offer streamlined firmware upgrade right from the app. Also the setup with WiFi was excellent using the 2-step QR. Seriously this app deserves a higher grade.
