5 stars: I love privacy, and when it comes to my carrier, they clearly don't. I use the free version of TunnelBear, and as long as you acknowledge that you only have 500-1.5gb of data, it is amazing. The UI of the app looks outdated, but that isn't a problem because its so clean and simple. I found you guys trough Linus Tech Tips. Keep it up :)
3 stars: Doesn't work on mobile data. Nothing is responsive, it just times out. Running it on wifi, I see my ip address changed, but the play store doesn't see it that way. With all location data off it's still saying I'm in the USA. Is the fact Comcast has the DNS address hard coded in the router firmware affecting my experience? Secure DNS works on cellular, but not with the Bear
4 stars: I really like the application.Yet, I'm having problems with it. Things can go wrong and they do because that's life. But, it keeps shutting down on my phone and on my computer. I am unable to sign in on a web browser. Please reach out or just resolve the issue. Thank you appreciate all your hard work.
3 stars: I've been using TunnelBear for over a year. The experience is better on desktop than Android, but when it works it's decent. Giving three stars because in the 2+ years I've been using it, they still haven't figured out how to lock out people using their service who mess it up for everyone else. I frequently get locked out of sites, have to do extra captchas, etc. Sometimes reconnecting works, sometimes not.
