3 stars: Whether you like The Times's journalism of course is a matter of taste and politics. The app is well-designed visually and generally easy to navigate around. The near impregnable paywall, however, makes it impossible to export text from the app in any format - even cut and paste is disabled. Another drawback is the lack of a search facility.

3 stars: It's fine but a bit bare bones. The comments below the line aren't laid out very well and it could definitely use a dark mode. The Guardian app is better, I like the news content on both though.
