4 stars: The game is fun at its core and requires a bit of strategy but is also very grind heavy. Ammo is not plentiful nor are the credits that are used for upgrading, it's very much geared toward encouraging purchases. it's not clear what the unlock conditions are for the various characters. Over all a good experience but needs improving.
3 stars: The cost of upgrading characters and weapons increases much too quickly relative to the credits you earn in the game itself (as opposed to buying them), whereas getting XP is much easier. Some of my characters have accrued enough XP to level up 2 or 3 times because I so rarely have enough credits to level them up. Disappointing because the core of the game is fun; there is just very little feeling of progress anymore.
5 stars: Excellent 16 bit linear dungeon crawler. The only complaint I have is that there are a little too much of the enemies per level and the hero regen takes too long at higher levels. Other than that I have no complaints this game is great definitely a time killer if anything.
