5 stars: The app does the job as described, but is dependent on supported vehicles and vehicle options. What impressed me most is the after sale support. Especially from Robert, he kept in regular contact until problem was resolved. Provided a solution to meet my requirements. Highly recommend Carly, app is pretty simple to use in comparison to alternatives and most importantly support is readily available. Thanks Robert and Carly team.
3 stars: Was 5 star, till they decided to only sell the new version of their adapter ... $80!?!? [Edit/reply] adapter should be less, with a higher priced App (Or a tiered priced App). I don't see how this doesn't rub your early adopters, especially when there are multiple other solutions for coding BMW's
5 stars: Have used this for quite some time. It is the only user friendly way to change settings in your BMW . Everything that can be changed is changeable. Only advise is to make sure the you have over 12.8 volts available for the entire programming phase. Use a big charger or power supply.
3 stars: Results are good but app is not well laid out or easy to use. I'm aware you can't use the app without the Carly adapter - why keep pushing it in the app once purchased? A very messy menu system that could be so much simpler and easy to use. Digital Garage seems hard to find now but will keep looking! I purchased the one off subscription some years ago and have been migrated successfully but does seem expensive now.
