5 stars: favorite tactic trainer. As you get higher it's less about winning pieces and more about positional advantages which is very important the higher your rating gets... don't always win in one move
4 stars: Excellent for tactics. Keeps track of progress. Simple for improving chess in small amounts of spare time.
