4 stars: Ive used the 1st version of this app 2 years ago. I like the added features on this version better. Would be nice if you could point at a specific spot on route and have mileage calculated without having to create a new route. When running low on HOS sometimes you want to figure out how far you can go for nearest truck stop or parking. numver of times route was faulty, but support was quick to rectify if i contact them of any anomalies.
3 stars: It's Great When It Works... I like it a lot when it has a good connection. Lately I've been in the NE and it has a hard time contacting the server and creating a route. It MAY be my phone. I don't know. But I do know that Google Maps (for what that's worth) will work when STR2 won't. I'd say try a one month subscription. If it works where you go, I think you'll like it. If it worked consistently for me, I'd be renewing for a year.
5 stars: I love it. this is as good or better than Rand McNally or any other I drive a big truck this app is spot on. I run alot of situation the require alot of low bridge load limit roads this app truck routing is spot on. My $650 Rand McNally gps went on a freeze mode freenzy several weeks ago I've had enough. This app is the best I've ever seen for truck routing.
