5 stars: Ive used Kater a few times now and ive only ahd a positive experience. its super convenient, i dont have to pay wirh cash or card, just get in the car, go and leave as soon as you arrive. definitley mich better than any taxi service.
3 stars: App works well, but needs way more cars and better availability. Often can't use it due to no cars available.
4 stars: can't see fare estimate, even though description said it should be provided
5 stars: Definitely worth trying. I've only had positive experiences thus far with this service. Can definitely benefit from more cars and a wider variety of cars, but for my requirements, they have been fine with the Hyundai Hybrids they've been using.
3 stars: Not available in North Vancouver, noticed the prices are NOT similar to ridesharing services, e.g. Uber in Edmonton is $2.75 + 0.25/min + 0.85/km vs Kater in Vancouver $3.25 + 0.56/min + $1.88/km, so for a 10k 20m ride its over twice the price...why?
5 stars: I have used it 3 times this week with no problems so far. All rides arrived within 5 minutes. Hopefully you scale up appropriately with enough drivers as the demand grows.
5 stars: Works very well, a great replacement for not having Uber or Lyft in Vancouver. Much easier to use then traditional taxi companies. if only Vancouver's metro \u0026 bus system was as well designed and easy to use!
