4 stars: App interface is reasonable. I have had occasional connectivity issues, but it's hard to say whether the phone (S8) or lock is to blame for that. Auto unlock seems to work the majority of the time, though sometimes it's a little slow. I do appreciate that it's possible to manually put the app in away mode.
3 stars: I have the August Smart Lock Pro \u0026 Connect. I live this setup and everything works great! Except one thing which I deducted 2 stars because of considering how annoying it is. Everyone I get home, it immediately turns off the WiFi on my phone. I have to deny it access to control my WiFi and then it costine all the time even interrupting Google Maps when I'm driving. I would still recommend this.
4 stars: LOVE the app and system. However, Bug in app won't let me update temporary access dates/times for my guests. It keeps saying that the code is already in use and eventually removes all changes I made. (I'm using a Yale lock connected by August) A workaround requires me to delete the guest and readd them with different access options. Very frustrating.
3 stars: App works better on iOS, i've used the August App on iPhone and Android. When I'm using my iPhone, Geo unlock worked 💯%. When using the App on Android it works 50% of the time. i did follow the recommendation (Remove it from battery saving mode, open the app often and leave it open) Right now I unlocked the door manually and got the notification 2min later.
