4 stars: You can get your subscription digitally downloaded so you can read it where there is no WiFi or cell reception. The data are deleted later (you can choose when). And it will read the articles for you so you can use it when driving or working out. 👍 The only downside is the in-app ads. I already pay for a subscription. I don't mind seeing ads I can scroll over in the articles, but the full-screen ones I have to swipe away are obnoxious.

5 stars: I think the views in this paper are reasonable and fairly presented. I tend to agree with their conclusions, but not always. And while it sometimes helps if you are familiar with some shorthand in economic jargon, for the most part the willing novice can take a lot from the form and direction of thought presented here.
3 stars: Works fairly well with a few irritations. If I switch to another app and then return to the economist, it loses my place in the article I was reading. It also continuously asks to re-download issues again and again which is extremely annoying.
