3 stars: Advanced Task Manager apk download - Easy to use. Well thought out. Just one problem...there seems to be little practical effect on ram and battery efficiency. I set auto kill on many auto start up apps, as quickly as 1 minute intervals. Then waited, and waited and waited. No demonstrable effect. What's the purpose? I tap the "clean all" in the stock ram monitor app, and instant result. Inconvenient but at least it works. Good luck.
3 stars: Advanced Task Manager apk download - Unclear The app has a Boost tickbox list of apps. Unfortunately it does not say what ticking does! Does it boost the app priority or does it kill the app? Also has an Ignore ticklist with padlocks instead of tick boxes. Unfortunately it does not explain whether locked apps are included/locked in or excluded/locked out /ignored. Finally, what is the difference between boosted and ignored? I'll rate this app again if they sort out the wording and explain it properly in the faq.
5 stars: - Nice app that kills tasks at regular intervals that do not need to run in the back ground. I know it saves battery life "unscientifically" because my battery gets hot from background programs, I kill all the tasks and my phone cools off soon after. I guess I will do better tests, but I recommend this app because it's not designed to steal your personal info, the source is trustworthy, and it does what it purports to do. Have been using it for about 4 years with multiple androids.
3 stars: - I can handle ads and I actually click on them bc I know that's how devs make their money. But not when it's on my screen before I have to enter my own pass code. Who needs 2 separate screen locks? Not me.
