4 stars: I love and have loved these types of choose your own, since I was a kid. And these adventures are fun. I like the unfolding story, and the not obvious, clues. Thank you for the map! I dislike having to pay for quick transports, but understand the Why. The only issue I have with this one, is a glitch, I'm sure. I handed the wood for the totem to the Carver, and it has disappeared. And with no saw, I can not get another piece. So, I can not finish the story line. I look forward to more of these.
4 stars: There are a few writing errors, but none really off-putting. I also would prefer it if the map doesn't reset itself after one escapes from capture. But all in all, I very much enjoyed playing this. This definitely gives the series justice. Will surely be looking out for other games from this developer.
4 stars: A solid piece of fun. The occasional moment of 'what piece of inventory have I not used on which piece of inventory/scenery' but that goes with this kind of game. The use of the first person in the narrative was a nice touch of the P.I. genre. That it also played against the 'YOU are the hero!' expectations I hold for this kind of game I can't decide if I like or not. Definitely want to go and play the first in the series.
