4 stars: The app has seen it's fair share of issues over the years. It was poor in the beginning & once they deleted the separate PS Messages app and merged it all into this app, but it's working smoothly now so it deserved an updated review. If there's anything I think the app would benefit from, it's a
3 stars: The app is in much better shape now since the revamp. However, the prices of games should be shown for the purchased ones as well (in case I want to tell a friend) and the titles should be listed below games so that it's clearly seen. Also expanding the hours played feature to see for all the games owned would be great. The filters and sorting options in the wishlist are missing as well.
2 stars: Way too slow imo, the app works but just barely and by that i mean every screen freezes for a few seconds before doing the exact opposite of what you wanted to do and makes you have to go back to the previous screen and try it again.. I've tested on numerous phones and tablets, including those from Sony only a few will work smoothly for a little bit but once an update comes out its right back to being slow
2 stars: Although I am not aware of any major data breaches on ps, not being able to purchase a digital key for a game without being forced to autosave a debit or credit card on file is ridiculous. Consumers should have options and that includes not saving card details or using single-use virtual cards. If the payment goes through, thats all that matters.
