5 stars: I've never had any issues with this app. So far the sound quality is good and I've never experienced a dropped call. Haha...I hope I haven't just jinxed myself, as I have to place a call in a few minutes 😅 I have the paid version, hence 5 stars for my ad experience. There aren't any when you upgrade and it's only 5 bucks a month!
5 stars: I put the TextNow app on the tablet I use at home. Calls are just as clear as making them from a phone. I switched from the free-with-ads version to the fewer ads $1.99 version about 6 months ago. It works, but many of the ads are larger & more distracting than expected. I wish the no-ads version wasn't so expensive. Either way, this is a great app & I really appreciate it.
3 stars: It's a solid app, and I've been using it for a while. Being able to get a compatible SIM card for it is really cool too! EDIT: lately I've had calls start on speaker with seemingly no way to stop this. I uninstalled then reinstalled and was fine for a bit, but it happened again today.
