3 stars: game's been out for only a few days and is already looking a lot better than GO, i just wish there were more character customization options. the lack of hairstyles is a little disappointing. and, i hope we get layered armor soon. very bare-bones launch, especially for a monster hunter title. part of the fun is performing crazy combos, which is sadly not present due to the simplified battle controls

2 stars: Has potential to be a great game! Sadly, if you do not have a perfect internet connection the game is basically unplayable. I can load videos and play other games, but this game will constantly freeze or disconnect mid fight. This has lead to countless failed battles, and times where the monster has escaped. I want to like this game, I've been a monster hunter fan since tri on the wii. Please fix this game.
