5 stars: Overall, I like the app because I can usually find what I'm looking for or if I just feel like browsing the Discover feed. What I don't like is the bigger search bar. It just seems like it's way too big for my device (Galaxy S8, Android P; version 9. Also, I wish there was an option for dark mode in the settings, like System, on, or off. Thank you.
4 stars: Google search is just the default for me and with the advent of many AI features on the way and my incredibly deep integration with Google Workspace, this is not just a passable app, but Google is the way to go. Lens is helpful for a multitude of things and it really does seem as though an answer is simply a search (or two) away. My biggest critique is the
4 stars: I love Google. I wish, however, that Maps would only suggest NEARBY locations instead of out of state. Unless I ask. I depend on Maps for my job, and it's frustrating to enter an address in my county, but be suggested numerous out of state addresses over local. Also, I recently have issues with Search just stopping working. Restarting device doesn't appear to fix that issue.
3 stars: I don't get it, you guys made pretty much the most ubiquitous maps app known to ALL smartphones yet when you search something in this app and select a map it does not open through the Maps app or even give you an option to.
