5 stars: App is super easy to use. I love how the system is fully customizable and you can access your cameras and settings when you are away from home. We haven't experienced any glitches or issues with the app or system. Edit to add we have had the system for over 3 years and we have added cameras sensors over that time.
5 stars: Works so well, contently. I use my phone to set alarm or adjust temperature from the second floor. Prevents me from needing a second panel. I love the convenience and practicality. Remote viewing and ability to speak to people from wherever I am is helpful.
4 stars: I have updated my review from two stars to four stars. After complaints about the camera recording / viewing function of the app not working properly, perhaps the developers change something. I received an update and now the camera function is working perfectly - so far. Other functions of the app seem to be working pretty well except for the system status widget, which doesn't always properly reflect the status of the system.
3 stars: Had the system for about 18 months, works fairly well. Occasionally have to reboot some devices, but no major issues. The playback feature is great with the additional drive for local storage. Doorbell camera is a must have. Only major issue is that Vivint sold out to Telus, the worst company in Canada, and Vivint equipment cannot be used with another provider.
