5 stars: Intuitive & easy to navigate. App has NEVER crashed or become unresponsive. Favourite feature: the option of having article read by journalist/writer. Also after reading article it changes colour so when scrolling you can easily see what you've already read. As a new subscriber these features will make me continue to subscribe.
5 stars: It is one of the most fluid interfaces, with easily readable and concise story links on the main page, quick loading of the full articles and, a nice touch I think, a return to the same spot on main page from which the reader left to see the full article. Nicely done, Guardian, and my compliments to whoever designed and programmed the interface.
4 stars: It's a fantastic app, likely the best of any paper. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars is I think they could make the finding saved articles more intuitive. Plus, the live update threads are always done with the newest entry showing first. Having an option to sort by oldest or newest would be helpful, since I often like to go through events in chronological order if I come to the article later. But overall great!
3 stars: Yet again the app has been updated and doesn't open properly on my tablet. Tried opening from the app store, still no joy. Opens to a short page of blank boxes and the header. Fine on my phone, but far more difficult to read there. Prefer tablet, but not the 1st time this has happened. Please, get it right, Guardian. This not what I subscribe for.
