5 stars: I saw a reviewer suggest that Microsoft's remote access software is better. It's not even close. Or that I should use google remote desktop for chrome. Well, I'm running the latest chromeos on a chromebook and the latest version of chrome and I can't change the mouse mode so I can just use the mouse pad or mouse on my chromebook to properly control my pc. GET Splashtop Personal for LAN desktop sharing. It's perfect.
4 stars: Great app and does what you need, may be some lag between PC and phone/tablet (1.5-1.8 second lag between touch and pointer) but that's to be expected. Only update I really want to see is a
3 stars: It works great when it works. I've been using it for a few days now and my only issue is after 2-3 mins of streaming, it gradually slows down up to the point that the screen stops refreshing at all. I'd have to keep reconnecting for it be usuable. This happens on both local over the wan. Is there a fix to this? Other than that issue, it does what I need it to do. Controls are pretty easy and its easy to use.
3 stars: Better than every other option, still full of annoyances and not great. Which is apparently the best the world ever has to offer for most things.
2 stars: Never connects.... This might be the last year I ever use this app. It always crashes and never connects. I could easily use a free version with better specs, but I stick around. Every update makes it worse....
