5 stars: excellent app. very accurate. there are several options to get the most information out of the predictions. I live on an island in the North Atlantic and the weather varies daily. this app has proven to be very useful for planning activities. the animated features are great as well. I haven't used the Prime tier but the free tier is still very functional
4 stars: Very good app. I especially like the information-dense widgets. My only major complaint is that it often fails to update the widget (even when there's a data connection), and instead of still showing the most recent forecast, the widget goes complete blank and gives a message saying that an update isn't possible. This becomes a big problem if I'm out of cellphone range. It happens frequently enough to cost the app 1 star.
4 stars: A fellow employee pointed out this app a while back. Thought it was a silly idea...winds? Why? Then I actually tried out the app and found out how much it does. So many possibilities. Icing in winter and thunderstorms in summer are my go to functions for work, and it is fun to move about and view different locales. Wish it had better aviation wx implementation, but that's a tall ask in this case.
3 stars: A very useful app, with a great interface, once you get used. Subscribing becomes an increasingly proposed option, but I'm strongly against adding up recurrent subscriptions for apps or services which are used just incidentally. Let's hope it will not go down the drain...
