5 stars: I have GPS navigation built into my car, but use Google maps most of the time because Google maps just works better. It's nice to be able to listen to and reply to any texts I receive without taking my eyes off the road. Android Auto has transformed how I travel in my car. I wish Android Auto would show the speed limit all the time rather than intermittently.
5 stars: A must have app for anyone driving a newer vehicle that supports it. Fast and responsive, easy to setup and use. However, I would like to see a little more customization available. For vehicles equipped with larger diplays, should be able to
4 stars: Moving from IOS to Android, it's just not quite as polished an experience. Had to find a music player that worked, and that would just find my music folders and not every single piece of media on my phone, for example. I also liked Apple maps showing me stop signs and red light cameras on route. The alternate route features in Google maps seem better. It's vastly improved from the first iteration of android auto that I played with.
3 stars: After using the app in my car for two years it suddenly won't work any more. Went into a store after listening to a book through the app on my drive and hasn't worked since. Tried every suggestion and still nothing works. The app is great when it works, but when it doesn't- it really, really doesn't work and seems unfixable.
