5 stars: I sent my feedback about the annoying permanent notification to google, like how it says in the help page. Without it, I have nothing to complain about; the app is lightweight and effective on my Sony.
4 stars: The new AVG Antivirus app works great in my Samsung Galaxy S22. But, I am inundated with this ignored snooping threat whenever it scans my phone system. With the previous Antivirus Pro app, I liked the pop-up app shield notification which gave me some assurance that app updates & installs were clean, and disappeared afterwards. I don't get that notification on this version. I feel that would definitely be an improvement.
4 stars: Very good protection although it won't let my Google assistant open anything until I fingerprint.
2 stars: I have been using this particular app for a long time. I have always rated it well and it needed tweaking but done the job well.
