5 stars: The best App I used so far. To notice that all the features I need are only available on basic plan (not free), but I couldn't find a free alternative. Route planning is great, tracking is ok, navigation mode is good. Plenty of possible customizations. Also maps sharing with friends works very well! You can also hide your trip's starting and ending point for privacy (let's say they are your home and working addresses). 5 stars!
5 stars: Very useful! I like being able to draw in off road routes. I have even used it for kayak paddles. The premium upgrade is well worth it if you are travelling and want to have your routes downloaded to your phone, especially where cell coverage is spotty and/or expensive.
4 stars: Great guided navigation and route planning. I was using this app for road biking and mountain biking for about four years, and now I use it for trail hiking around the Bay Area. It is equally great for hiking as it is for biking, and I'm happy to have continued my subscription. Loses one star for overall quality, such as incorrect navigation queues and other bugs / annoyances within the app.
3 stars: Paid for the subscription again to get turn by turn directions since it seems everyone else uses this for routing. It has improved since last time, but when it gives directions it just chimes when a turn is needed instead of saying left or right. (Although it does verbally announce the NEXT turn). It seems like an easy fix to just re-announce the turn ...
