5 stars: Edit: I'm a dumb dumb and must have picked a bad restore point. Upon Googling I came across an article that said the basic app no longer backs up photos, very misleading and damaging, for the developers of this app. At any rate, I tried another restore point, and my pics all came with. Thank you sms backup & restore for preserving every message and picture I've ever sent, in the last 10yrs! 5 stars!!!
4 stars: Works decently. Takes a long time after the
4 stars: For most part I got the sms messages back. Some issue I noticed was that for one of the conversation, I got about a three weeks worth back but all the messages before that has blank contents . I did go through the option about deleting data to reset messages but no go. Otherwise it's a quick and easy app to recover messages between two devices.
3 stars: I want to love it but it slows down to a crawl when restoring messages. It starts out real fast and then randomly decides it's gonna go from 10-20 texts per second to 1 text per 3 seconds on the fastest phone you can currently get. Then it decided it was just gonna stop transferring while I was sleeping with no information as to why.
3 stars: Often Fails To Backup Some Old Pics In Text Messages. Very Frustrating. This happens despite the fact that you can tap a button to back up the text messages WITH images.
