4 stars: Just discovered pixiv and am loving it so far. I find the quality is more consistent then DeviantArt and also more focused. So if you don't love anime or the imagery it may not be for you. The app makes it easy to find stuff and the interface is fairly intuitive. It only loses a star because I can't find the message feature. Not sure if it's missing or I'm not seeing it but that's it so far. Overall great experience so far.
4 stars: Good way to keep up with artist. Much less clutter than with Twitter. I am a premium subscriber so my experience may vary. For finding new artists still stick to danbooru, the tag system is much better.
3 stars: I wanna give this app a good rating, but I just can't. Its a good app on a technical level because it doesn't have any bugs or glitches but on a design level, it's a different story. The main function of the app (to let us view pictures) is poorly designed as it doesn't let us view pictures in improper aspect ratios and lower resolution. The web page on mobile is better imo.
3 stars: the ads are minimal (which is a good thing) but basic content curation should be a free feature beyond one tag or term block. hell, sites that don't only host art let you block as much as you want, why should i have to switch out one filtered thing for another and have to see that previously filtered thing in my recommended?
