5 stars: This is the most easy to use and comfortable app on Google Play Store for a remote control that works with the TV. Samsung, Magnavox, and LG have their own Remote Control Application on Google Play, but most of the people I've heard have had a lot of problems setting that Remote Control Application up, if they lose their remote control to their tv.
5 stars: The app is in Beta, and the tv only recognizes the home button, that makes it try to load smartcast, which doesn't work. I will never buy from Vizio again. The tv is only six months old and is useless. Seven weeks after reviewing the APP I got a response from the developers. Since the TV was repaired six weeks ago, I no longer have a use for the APP, which still doesn't work for me.
4 stars: Only using the app for the TV. The direct channel input seems more reliable than the physical remote. Access to the many available apps seems to work. I changed a regular channel and the sound seemed over modulated and the volume control didn't respond but using the real remote seemed to fix the issue and the app is behaving ok now. Since I don't watch a lot of TV, I won't be using it that often, but it's interesting to have.
4 stars: (2 weeks later update) I found the culprit to my problem of connecting to my tv... Apparently Vizio only wants to connect to 2.4G bands only... My eero's band steering didn't allow that, but after turning off band steering I was finally able to use this app as intended. Updated to 4 s...
