4 stars: This is a story about a magician in a small village full of people. Bulllies, friends, family and lovers. The writer did well with character dialogue and selling the small village. The plot was slow and made you feel like you really were a bored villager working three jobs. Lot of romance interests too. The ending of the story felt rushed.
4 stars: A bit slow-pokey and juvenile at times. It is still a good read, looking forward to the sequel.
3 stars: Multiple descriptions are reused and it can get a little repetitive. The story itself seems interesting but lacks character consistency and development. Most of the dialogue also sounds unnatural. The romantic options are not bad, but the development of their interests is awkward at best. Other than that, it was an enjoyable read and has a lot of potential, but not really worth the price I paid.
