4 stars: I only bought online for the switch to play New Horizons with some friends, with the older systems you could connect without an online account, but it isn't expensive so I dont mind. I only use it for Animal crossing so I dont know how the rest of the app is, but it's easy to type on instead of the switch and it's great to put qr codes into your game.
4 stars: This is a really great app! I use it all the time. But, the voice chat does glitch sometimes so you can't hear the other person and it says they left the voice chat. Sometimes even after leaving voice chat and then going back in doesn't work. But overall, it's a great app and I highly recommend this app if you want to talk to your friends while playing.
3 stars: Decent app, the voice chat function is useless though. Running into an issue though where I can't copy and past within the app, such as replay codes in Splatoon 3m can type fine, but when I go to paste the code it won't appear

2 stars: The app isn't broken, just the concept. Online gaming chat for a console shouldn't be mandatory to a phone by default. Don't use the app for voice chat, use Skype or anything else; it can make your setup easier. Other than this, the app is pretty good for Splatoon 2 features like the shop and schedule dates for maps and ranked games.
