5 stars: It worked well when I first got it, but the last couple of months it's getting frozen and malfunctioning. A few moments ago I had to, once again, delete and reinstall the app to get it to function properly. I like McAfee and do not experience the same problems on my PC. The issues are limited to the mobile app. Update: Followed the advice in their reply and so far so good.
4 stars: I'm having major problem with the VPN on my android and tablet. I can't change the location ... it actually gives my true location when the VPN is on. I can't find the drop down list to select a different location. I tried uninstalling it but it didn't make any difference.
3 stars: I was a fan. But unfortunately subscriptions were not syncing and I have now been nabbed with a large unexpected charge that I don't ever recall authorizing or renewing. I've been trying for weeks now to contact support/customer services to discuss options but have NEVER had a call back or response from anyone. Very frustrating considering I'm now missing $$.
2 stars: Highly annoying messages. The 'Your score increased' notices, Every. Single. Time. You do anything at all in the app are highly annoying. You can't clear them off, or turn them off (ie 'don't show this again'), you just have to wait for it to clear off. Highly annoying if you have multiple changes to make in a row. This review accidentally got cleared off so i added it back in. Mcafee wanted me to contact them, i did.
