5 stars: This app is not only enjoyable but quite helpful. What I like about this app is that it's repetitive. It repeats the things your learning until you remember it. I'd recommend this app to any friends who want to learn Korean.
5 stars: For a free app, definitely 5 stars. It does a fantastic job serving the basic purpose of learning vocabulary by topic through a kind of a timed flashcard memorization game. I would seriously consider paying for the app, but there needs to be more content. Some topics have too few words. For instance, the Drinks topic has only 7 words but 12 lessons, so the learning pace is glacial. They could easily add more words like
4 stars: it's a good way of learning the basics! the only thing disappointing is that they only show romanised ways of spelling which isn't that helpful if you want to learn how to spell the words. there should be an option in my opinion to choose which writing system to use
3 stars: No option to test for a correct placement. Instead, you have to start from 0 and I am past that. Also, if you switch between normal and difficult, you lose your progress and have to start again. Makes it difficult to go slow then fast as you learn more.
