4 stars: Smooth and functional. I can access my textbooks easily. The prices of books are far better than a physical copy. My only complaint is the inability to import my own .pdf or .epub files locally, alhtough I am unsure if this would even be possible and maintain this level of functionality. A great app and a great support team as well.
3 stars: This app is not optimized for tablets or phones. There is no option to download only certain chapters, doesn't even tell you how big the download is, when it will finish, etc. Apart from that, the reading experience is alright. I like the ability to search for terms in the book.
3 stars: I have downloaded on my laptop and on my tablet. I need the read aloud function but it doesn't read in order jumps around. Because of this on a tablet there is less control at telling the eReader to start and stop reading all you can do us tab forward or back. On the laptop version you highlight the text where you need to read from and it gives an option to read from there. Very time consuming.
3 stars: The app started out amazing(Ive been using it since October), but now for some reason, the read aloud feature has a 15 second delay between a period \u0026 the start of the next sentence. PLEASE FIX THIS!! its slowing me down because I can read faster than the feature, which kind of defeats my purpose for using it.
