5 stars: this app has worked for years for me. never charged me a cent, doesn't make sense but I'm not arguing. it's come through for many times when my paid for cell phone has been busy with not operating properly and all you need is Wi-Fi. if you've been used it in places with low signal and still had clear phone calls and definitely text that work from those places
3 stars: It used to be amazing but it's been really screwing up lately. People call me it doesnt ring nor does it tell me someone called. Text is hit or miss now. Worst of all, people leave msgs and when I try to play it, theres no audio. Prior to this, I was blown away at how great this service was for free. I just updated so I'm hoping that will fix any bugs it may have.
3 stars: True free Wi-Fi calling app, I could drop my cellphone carrier. Not for mobile on the go use, but can be used simply by stopping at any free Wi-Fi hot spot all over the country. Droped to 3 stars as the app has become completely unreliable, stopped ringing, won't receive important text. Unfortunately my numbe quickly became riddled with scam calls due to an apparent vulnerability allowing call display spoofing
5 stars: For 2 years, I paid $9.99/month for ad free because I thought I had to, so as to text and make calls away from WiFi. Turns out, I don't have to pay for anything! However, in order to receive verification texts, I have to lock in my number for $4.99/year. I don't mind this at all. The ads are a little irritat...
