4 stars: Alltrails is great, but it's lacking the possibility to easily create custom tracks on the phone either beforehand or while doing a trail. Another cool option would be to tell you how far are you from an specific point or checkpoint (usually the end point to see if you need to speed up your pace or not).

I can only talk about the free version. I do not like annual payments and have not purchased the full version. I may purchase a lifetime membership if it was $50.
