4 stars: Its fun if you can get past the very steep paywall and predatory pricing. The prices are so ludicrous for how little they give you in return that it really isnt enticing to buy anything. The gameplay is pretty simplistic, but there are tons of characters to unlock, and tons of different play styles you can use. It rewards you for playing at least a little bit every day. Its a fun, mindless game to kill some time with.

Game has a lot of pay-to-win/pay-to-progress packages and bundles, but it's not impossible for a free-to-play player to get good characters and gear, it just needs a lot of dedication and time. The only bundle that is worth it in the game is the hyperdrive bundle. If you want to progress quickly and get the most bang out of your buck, invest in the hyperdrive bundle, it's basically a steal.
