3 stars: Good The game board is nice and easy to navigate visually. The hints are helpful too. What stands out is how the computer is heavily favored. When I average 4 points per hand and 2 points per crib and the computer averages 6 and 4 respectively, there's no chance of winning. It couldn't be more obvious when the comp continuously gets nobs, 15's during pegging and last card played points.
4 stars: Good App Everything is well done. Maybe one suggestion. Slow down the counting process after hand is done. Counting properly is a hard skill to learn in cribbage. My dad, who taught me how to play, said that when he played as a young man, if you left points on the table without claiming them, your opponent could claim them if you didn't after you were done counting. That being said, it might slow down gameplay on app, but you would be more skilled as cribbage player.
5 stars: When you have it set for optimum scoring it won't let you play it the way you want if it's different from their way. That's my only complaint. You should be able to override it. It seems like it's looking mainly at the possibilities in your hand while I also look at the possibilities of my crib cards will give my opponent. Many times my gut is correct. Now I don't"t use that feature for this reason. Other than that I love it!
