4 stars: I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to get, the first designer city, or the second one. I looked at the reviews, and found they were the same. I look at the controls/Gameplay/Graphics. I found this one was better, but wasn't updated, I would love to see this one updated, especially sooner than the old one! Sincerely, Tropical.
5 stars: I gave this game 5 stars. DC2 doesn't suck.... DC1 isn't better.... This game is just different. I wish I could sew my DC1 metro area and my DC2 rural area together. DC2 demonstrates the other side of city building. Adding hills and different textures are fantastic toward sculpting this rural wilderness into a country living lifestyle where population and density are second to really moulding this new full map layout. Really cool.
4 stars: Not quite as good as the original in my opinion... although the second one has several new options to it... it lacks a few of my favourite features of the first such as the gold mine being 4x the size of the first and many of the best buildings being larger which severely limits the space available... but all in all a well put together game that provides hours of fun
4 stars: Updated review: Good game but with a few bugs and in needs of improvement; sometimes the game gets softlocked. I should be getting more gold in the stock exchange. (like 15-20) More buildings will be appriciated. Sometimes a building says that it has less than 150% of happiness even though it has everythin...
