4 stars: Mapping app and maps seem really good. Issue is finding the right narrative when searching for maps. The free ones are NOT easy to find for all areas.
5 stars: Installed two years ago as a one-time map reader while on vacation but have used more often here at home. Free downloads of maps which overlay basic position has been helpful. Doesn't seem to be as resource heavy as similar apps.
3 stars: I like the app, but when I download PDF documents, they go into avenza instead of the PDF app. I cannot do anything with them in avenza, and it won't allow me to import them back out to the proper app. Basically the app is stealing files it does not need and cannot use, and won't give them back.
5 stars: It is so valuable to be tracking our canoe journeys on the same maps that we have in hardcopy. Love that we can download the maps we need from the Avenza store. This app is a great complement to compass and hardcopy maps.
5 stars: Use this app for work works fantastic, just found geo reference topo map for an area I hunt and fish, love that I can track and see where I'm at all the time.
5 stars: Great being locate, track and navigate using the many available pdf maps. IMHO all national and Provincial Parks should make their Park maps geo referenced for use with Avenza.
4 stars: I like the look and feel of this, not too hard to navigate through..accepted input maps I had, worked out well.
