4 stars: I saw a few minor problems with the app : 1) While selecting a message it has a bit of lag which makes it feel unresponsive. 2)The preview is not showing where it is required to. 3)When there is no preview available the box occupies a lot of space and more than half of the message box gets used up. I felt it to be a redundant feature.
4 stars: Once I got the chat settings to work, I couldn't be happier. Many users have reported this issue, and I found my case was caused because of a VPN. Check if this is your issue; if it is, see if you can use spilt tunneling to allow Messages to pass through your regular tunnel. 4 stars because Google's support material is quite limited, as they just assume it's a carrier issue (though many support RCS).
3 stars: My carrier, TMobile (I was and as of this review, still am, a Sprint customer) supports the chat features offered in this app. When I first switched my Sprint SIM card with the TMobile SIM card in my Samsung S21 a couple of months ago, the chat feature worked fine. 4 stars: Re: To previous Review. The category feature is now working good. I don't know how, but it started working. I did not even update my app but it started automatically. Previous: I have this app in my realme x7 max phone. The function to sort messages by category into personal, offers, etc is not at all working. This causes difficulties in finding any previous messages.
