5 stars: I am learning to read music notes as an exercise for the mind. I have a small Korg microKEY and together with this app is the perfect setup to quickly jump into short drills when I wake up. In addition to daily chess positions analyses, this music training app now forms a part of my daily drill.
4 stars: After using more than 15 apps, i found this app best in all categories. Chapterwise learning. Step by step easy tutorials. Fully compatible with midi, all types of notes. Only 1 drawback was that both Bass and Treble notew run in 1 single line. Rather, there should b 2 lines like a grand staff. Upper line for treble, lower line for bass.
4 stars: My only beef with this app is the keys sometimes read incorrectly, I'll hit the right key and it reads the wrong key. As someone who played piano for a very long time but then stopped playing for a few years, this app is absolutely perfect for a refresher on skills and (if you are a dummy like me) help you learn or retrain you to read sheet music correctly.
5 stars: Super efficient way to learn how to read music. I found myself able to read notes after just about 30 seconds. Better than picking up any music book and fumbling your way through, trust me. Similar to Duolingo (language app). They've mastered the mechanism of how to drill new knowledge into the human brain - and have fun whilst doing so.
