3 stars: I have loved my experience with Mansions of Madness so far. However i had to edit my rating due to a bug in the Hidden Depths scenario. Midway in the scenario, whenever we moved to the mythos phase, it would no longer make us suffer mythos events, move and attack with monsters or horror checks and we could not really reach an end to the scenario. It us the first real bug i have witness since playing.
5 stars: I mean, it's perfect for what it is. Works great with the board game, allows for easy management of stories, no ads, never had a problem with it.
4 stars: I've noticed that when you kill the first Hunting Horror in the Cycles of Eternity scenario there is a sound effect for the defeated monster. As far as I know, that's the only time you hear it, for any of the scenarios. I think it would be more immersive and rewarding if you heard this every time. Maybe add 2 more for variety and play them randomly when a monster is defeated. Just a thought
5 stars: Only proble I have was the lack of replayablility with scenarios and the fact that we lost a game due to me accidentally hitting the ok button instead of the +1 for a skill check to talk to a kid. Failed 0 since I hadn't put any points in, and the person disappeared, making it way to hard to finish the mission in time till we lost. Still great app tho, putting this on my dummy thicc thumb and my baby phone.
