5 stars: Simple and fast. Backs up my messages without a worry. Used this app several times to restore old messages whenever I transfer to a new phone. Excellent app.
5 stars: Functions well. When Android Messages didn't show the restored backup, launching SMS Backup \u0026 Restore immediately told me how to fix the problem but clearing all of Messages' data.

5 stars: This app did exactly what it promised! However, it took me 3 days to get it to actually complete the transfer due to having to keep refreshing my screen because when it went to sleep the app failed. Yeah 3 days but I had a lot to transfer! Hahaha anyway I highly recommend this app and if the developer is reading let it work when the phone is in sleep mode (like updates do)
5 stars: My phone kept started crashing and then hanging on restart so it was time for a refresh. I didn't want to lose my messages though and this was recommended in a few places. It worked like a charm. After the restore was done I did have to delete the message app storage data per the troubleshooting but my messages all showed up after I did so.
