5 stars: Love it! I'm reviewing only the thermostat. Overall I'm happy with it. Works great and paired with the app as well as my other smart devices, I have an overall great experience. I just don't like the temp sliding thing in the app to set Temps. It makes it kinda difficult. It's rather type it in. Kinda wish the app had more frills, but it's not the end of the world for me unlike other people.
4 stars: Overall good, but a couple of improvements are needed for the off mode. Firstly, it gives a worrying warning when the safety temperature is reached. It should only warn if the temperature fails to rise after the heating has been switched on to solve the problem. It's not a problem until that happens. Secondly, the first screen that shows \
3 stars: Home away assist is a great concept but does not work well. It does not consistently detect when we leave the house. We use our phone location for this feature. We spent countless hours with Nest support trying to fix the issue but with no success. Other than that, this is still a helpful app but it could be so much better if the home away assist feature worked correctly.
4 stars: The only problem I have is that my Nest shows the thermostat offline in the app, but is not offline when looking at the Nest thermostat.
