3 stars: The app is OK. It is fairly good when i look for addresses within the city or popular places. But it cannot find most of the addresses or shows wrong suggestions. It's weird that Toyota added CarPlay but abandoned AA which is used by most of the people. Even though chances are super slim but hope that Toyota will add AA later as an update or Scout GPS will continue to improve at least so that it could be usable.
3 stars: Doesn't interface well and when you search a destination it always shows you something longer than Google maps (35 mins difference in my experience more than once). Also there were a few times it didn't know the address I was searching. Also I couldn't hear the app if I had anything else running, such as an audiobook.
3 stars: Search is easy to use. BUT it would be nice if we could save maps on our device. Also would be nice to have map stream via bluetooth. (The Toyota Supra allows for apple car play via bluetooth. while CarPlay and scout are two different things, apple CarPlay let's you stream apple maps to screen. So in theory scout streaming maps to screen via bluetooth should be an option at least
