3 stars: I loved this game for a long time until I got to the High Middle Ages. I started having to plan my life around this game because my goods were ALWAYS plundered by someone who obviously spent a bunch of money to play and upgrade. I've boosted defense and attack while I'm off at work and I still come home to all my stuff gone. I get slow moving games, I generally like them but I haven't moved an inch in a year. More frustrating than fun.

Been playing since December and haven't spent a penny but still feel competitive and have fun with it. Great game, easy to play, fun, and don't need real world loot.
