4 stars: We live in wildfire country. It is quite reassuring to have this app at hand every time we hear a siren. We feel we are a step ahead in overall preparedness.
3 stars: Great app. Gives very accurate address and early dispatch most of the time. Biggest complaint. The dispatch tac channel ALWAYS overrides any other tac channels. If a call comes in while you're listening, it will jump to dispatch. Really sucks, especially because it seems to always happen during the initial size up.
5 stars: *Update* Due to a prompt reply from the developer with a suggestion that seems to have resolved my issue, I am changing my rating. Outstanding service! I enjoy the content but notifications rarely go through. And yes, I have all notifications enabled for the app and the phone.
4 stars: Love the app and easy to use and understand. Only complaint, i wish there were updates to fires. For example, containment or acres burned or highlighted areas affected. Having family across Southern California, it is very nerve wrecking knowing there is a fire close to a relative. It would be nice to have the peace of mind for it to be updated periodically.
5 stars: Listen in real time. Watched a fire a few blocks away from me, while listening to this app. Was able to quit watching and go back home, with confidence, due to conversation on the app. There are settings for various alerts. I consider this app as essential for California Fires.
