3 stars: Its a nice app to learn how to write in Japanese, just wish it'd do a better job of remembering what I'm struggling on. Couldn't get one of the katakana characters right and so it had me redraw it once or maybe twice, then for the remainder of my time limit had me do another character that I wasn't struggling on several times.
5 stars: This helped me learn a lot of simple words in the first 5 minutes I had it. I started using those words when I was cooking, cleaning, etc. I am now able to speak Japanese pretty good, I'm still learning though. I recommend this.
5 stars: I'm a visual learner, which has always made school (especially language classes) a little harder. This worked really well for me!
5 stars: It's a really good app. I actually like the fact that it gives you a limit of words everyday because you can focus one those words to make sure you have learned them and not just keep going through the words. (:
