5 stars: When it works, it really works. Fast, easy to use, and secure. Occasionally the push notifications are a bit delayed, and once every now and then it doesn't receive the notification at all, but that's pretty rare. The app experience is as seamless and effective as Google's device notifications. Here Microsoft is showing other companies what 2-factor authentication should be, and just how pleasant the experience can be.
3 stars: I'm in the process of reloading this app and trying to re-sync my phone and PC because after a so-called update in June, the app would not refresh and work between the two devices. When the app was operational prior to the patch it was great. If I am able to synchronize the devices and the app becomes functional again, I will upgrade my rating.
4 stars: The only reason I gave it 4 stars is bc it isn't consistent. I don't always get the prompt that it's working so in the past I have reset my password when it wasn't necessary. However, that's more likely to be operator error than the fault of the developers. It's a good security app, easy to use, pretty straight forward. I like it. I'd recommend it.
